CHC training comes to your group

Live CHC training is delivered as contracted seminars, intensives, and workshops. Luke travels to your group, your community, or your organization. No fixed facility, no standing schedule - training is structured around your objectives and your people.

What live training looks like

Training is structured to match your group's objectives and available time. Most engagements fall into one of three formats:

Half-day or full-day seminars

A focused session on a single domain or skill set: situational awareness and behavioral analysis, primal skills (fire, cordage, shelter, water, navigation), fear management and psychological competence, or decision-making under pressure. Designed for groups of 6 to 60. Works well as a standalone event or as part of a larger program or conference.

Multi-day intensives

A compressed but comprehensive run through multiple domains of the CHC framework. Combines physical skill development, situational awareness, and psychological competence training into a structured sequence over two or more days. Better suited to groups with a longer time horizon and a broader development objective.

Ala-carte contracting

Organizations and groups can contract for specific modules matched to their needs. The curriculum is modular. If your team needs situational awareness training but is already solid on physical skills, we build that. If you need to prioritize decision-making under pressure for a specific professional context, we build that instead. The training is structured around what your group actually needs.

Who live training is for

Live training has been delivered to private groups, community organizations, churches, preparedness-oriented families, businesses, and security teams. If you have a group with a defined objective, the format is built to meet you where you are.

Live training is not a substitute for the Substack curriculum, and the curriculum is not a substitute for live training. They work at different depths. The curriculum provides the intellectual framework and individual practice protocol. Live training provides the controlled-pressure environment where that framework gets tested and internalized.

The Dangerously Competent intensive

Dangerously Competent is CHC's most comprehensive live training format. It combines situational awareness and behavioral analysis with primal skill development, fear management, and personal defense readiness - building across physiological, psychological, cognitive, and perceptual domains in a single contracted event.

It runs as a multi-day intensive or as a series of contracted sessions over a defined period. If you're looking for a full-range development experience rather than a focused single-skill seminar, this is the appropriate format.
