The Primal Primer
Survive Anything. Slay Anxiety. Exit the System
The foundational text for Core Human Competence. The argument, then the skills.
The Primal Primer opens with the argument: modern adults are not unprepared because they lack information. They are unprepared because the systems that meet their needs have never required them to develop the capacity to meet those needs themselves. The result is a population of chronological adults with the competence profile of dependents - anxious, fragile at the edges, and unable to provide the nervous system with the proof of capability it requires to stand down.
The practical section teaches the skills that provide that proof. Fire, water, cordage, shelter, navigation, food sourcing, and basic hygiene. Not as survival hobbies - as the baseline physiological competencies that every adult human developed throughout our evolutionary history, and that modern life has quietly removed.
The book does not promise results through reading. It makes the case, provides the knowledge foundation, and points toward the practice that makes knowledge real. The curriculum on Substack is the structured, ongoing companion to what the book introduces.
